Akratos Rosso Matera Primitivo DOC 2020

Aromas of spices from the Mediterranean scrub mix with the enveloping essences of red berries, composing the rich aroma of a red wine with a strong and structured character, obtained from the prized Primitivo grapes, traditionally destined for the celebration of the harvest. This wine presents itself as a work of oenological art, suitable for symposiums and ceremonies, an authentic akratos oinos as the ancient Greeks and the Oenotrians defined it, who inhabited this land for centuries and where the Battifarano family perpetuates their tradition . A pure and precious nectar, which in ancient times was reserved for the powerful god Dionysus, while common men were only allowed to mix it with water.
