Wine with an intense ruby red color, the nose reveals delicious aromas of small red fruits, morello cherry and plum, with light hints of licorice. On the palate it is enveloping, elegant and persistent with a soft tannic note in perfect balance with its structure. Ideal combined with legume soups, first courses, risottos and macco di fave. Serving temperature 16-18°C.
Autochthonous variety among the oldest in western Sicily, Perricone offers ample olfactory sensations of fresh red berried fruit, confirmed in a pleasant persistence. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 22 and 25°C, and refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks for a period of no less than 6 months. A further month of rest in the bottle is carried out before release.
