Deep ruby red in colour, it has a rich and persuasive bouquet with notes of wild berries in perfect harmony with spicy hints of black pepper and balsamic notes. The taste is generous, with a pleasantly tannic, velvety and persistent sensation. At the table it goes well with grilled mushrooms, risotto and bean soup.
The origin of this vine is still debated. The only certainty we can support is that our Syrah grapes express a strong character, tempered by the Sicilian sun. Harvested manually in small boxes, the grapes are destemmed and macerated at a controlled temperature between 24 and 27°C; the refinement takes place in stainless steel containers and in French wooden barriques for 6 months. One month in the bottle before being marketed.
