Vinsanto Doc Colli del Trasimeno Sperello

Passito wine produced from a careful selection of Grechetto and Trebbiano grapes following the traditional techniques of Lake Trasimeno. The grapes are dried on racks for about 3 months, then subjected to pressing.
With a bright amber color, the nose releases sweet notes of raisins, dates, dried figs, apricots and chestnut honey. The taste is supported by a very pleasant freshness. An elegant wine with great taste-olfactory persistence.

Historically combined with the classic Cantuccio or Tozzetto of the Umbrian-Tuscan tradition. Also excellent with apple pies, fruit puff pastry and fig or apricot jam tarts. However, it reveals itself as truly particular and suggestive when paired with blue cheeses.
