It has an intense ruby red colour. Characterized by an enveloping aroma with dominant notes of red berry fruit in harmony with notes of spices and vanilla. On the palate it is rich, ample and persistent, distinguished by a pleasant note of freshness typical of the grape variety. Ideal companion for dishes based on asparagus, soups and grilled peppers.
Of Sicilian origins, typical of the hilly hinterland areas, the Nero d'Avola grapes express all the Sicilian nature of a territory. Harvested manually in small crates, they are destemmed and macerated at a controlled temperature between 24 and 27°C; the refinement takes place in stainless steel containers and in French wooden barriques for 6 months. One month in the bottle before being marketed.
